United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley, in collaboration with Bird Street Community Center and Federated Dorchester Neighborhood Houses, produced a video in 2007 which depicts how youth interpret the positive adult role models in their lives. Annalicia Williams, Lacey Bransfield and Kayla Koscenski of FDNH participated in the film.
Amira Patterson, 12, of Federated Dorchester Neighborhood Houses sang the national anthem with Athene Wilson at an event for Barack Obama on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Park Plaza Castle.
